What is a 5DC?

A 5-Day Club is a summer backyard Bible club led by mature Christian teens who have been trained, equipped and background screened solely for the purpose of sharing the Gospel in an age appropriate way.  This year's training camp is being held at Molokai Baptist Church.

How long is a 5DC?

Clubs are about 90 minutes long and are held daily for 5 days in a row.  Clubs on Molokai can be scheduled to start between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. daily.

Where are 5DC's held?

5-Day Clubs are held where ever there are children!  5DC's have been held in parks, in backyards, in living rooms, in community centers and in churches.  Our hope is to have at clubs in at least four different locations simultaneously during this week each afternoon.

Who can host a club?

Anyone can host a club!  Our deep desire is to have the opportunity to share the Gospel with as many children on Molokai as possible this week.  Being a host is a crucial role for our clubs.  If you won't be hosting the club at your local church, we still ask that you include your local church family so they can support the club through prayer, snacks and onsite help with supervising the children who attend.

What is the commitment for hosting a 5DC?

 

It's as easy as 1-2-3!

 

1. Provide a location for the club.

2. Advertise the club to your friends and neighbors.

3. Provide snacks and drinks for all of the children who attend.

 

Our trained teens and staff will take care of the rest!

 

What happens after the 5DC?

Our deep desire is that children who hear a clear presentation of the Gospel at one of our summer 5DC's will also be embraced by a local church in their community for follow up.  This is why we stress having a church partner for each of our 5DC locations.

Last year, 26 teens shared the Gospel with more than 500 children across the island of Oahu.  Our partner churches had the chance to follow up with these children and their families.

 

When can I host a 5-Day Club?

Since our summer missionary training being held on Molokai this summer, we are limiting the week available to host a club to June 11th-15th.  If this week will not work with your schedule but you ABSOLUTELY want to host a club later in the summer, please contact Matt Walton to see if other arrangements can be made.

How do I register to host a 5DC?

Registering to host a 5DC is quick and easy.  Simply choose the week you would like to host the club, what time of day you would like to host your club and then click the button below to begin the online registration form.  Please note there is a specific registration form for our Molokai clubs.  If your form doesn't say, "2018 Molokai 5DC Registration" please return to this page and try again or contact Matt Walton for a direct link.
